Important points to be noted:

  • Nelson Mandela swears in as the first black president of South Africa on 10th May 1994. At the time of his swearing two national anthems were sung. He wished that freedom in Africa should reign.
  • Once in a time army put him in jail because he pay respect to the newly born democracy.
  • The country of South Africa is rich in minerals and gems but the real wealth of the country is its people.
  • He tells about the martyrs were the man of extraordinary courage and wisdom and generosity. That’s why he pays homage to the national martyrs who sacrifice their lives for the sake of their motherland.
  • He tells no one can right to differentiate one person is different from another on the bases of the colour of his skin, or background, and his religion.
  • He always talks about the twin obligation towards his family, and nation.
  • Hence, he joined African National Congress fought for the freedom of his country.
  • He well known about the oppressor must be liberated just as surely as the oppressed. And they are like a robbed of their humanity.

 

 

 

 

NELSON MANDELA SUMMARY (long walk to freedom)

Nelson Mandela is the famous personality of the world and the first black president of South Africa. After long time that means more than 3 centuries of white rule, celebrated very vividly the grand ceremony of the first democratic non-racial government. Being affirmed in he said radiantly that   “Never, never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another”. He pays admiration to the freedom fighters like Oliver Tambo, Luthuli, Yusuf  Dadoo. Nelson Mandela is the name of extraordinary courage, wisdom and generosity. He regards the death of thousands of people who sacrificed their lives for the cause of courage. It is not the absence of fear but the victory over it. Every human has right to love rather than harassment or any kind of things. He says every man has his duties to his family, community, society, and country.
